Borehole surveying

Borehole surveying is about mapping the exact path that a borehole takes underground. By measuring the direction and inclination of the hole at different depths, we can create an accurate three-dimensional image of its path.

Although a borehole looks straight on the surface, in reality it can deviate significantly underground. Our borehole measurement service creates a high-precision, reliable position that clearly shows where you are in the rock.

With borehole surveying, we measure and map all types of boreholes, in all applications, from mine exploration to foundation construction.

We also use GPS to measure the starting position of the borehole on the ground surface and its starting direction. All this together gives a complete picture of the borehole's route, both above and below ground.
