We have 30 years of experience and a strong position
Protek Norr has around 190 employees and its head office is in Norsjö in Västerbotten. We are today owned by the listed group Nordisk Bergteknik and has been run by the current management since 2007. Our history dates back to the 1990s, but it starts earlier than that.
Business and market area
We are active throughout the Nordic region, focusing on both underground and surface drilling. Exploration is our largest activity and our drilling volume is around 240,000 metres per year.
Thanks to long experience, expertise and good partnerships, we have created a strong market position and established a deep understanding of the industry's requirements and needs. Together with our customers, we develop new methods and ways of working to meet the industry's growing demands.
Over the years, we have also expanded into infrastructure and can perform diamond drilling in everything from roads, bridges and railways to dams and wind farms.
Safety and security
We work actively on issues relating to the external environment, safety and the working environment and have set high standards to protect our employees and create a sustainable workplace. Our employees and management can work in security-classed projects, for example in nuclear power plants or on behalf of the Swedish Fortifications Agency.
